| Bio: | In May 2006, I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. I am a very busy person and seem to always put way too much on my plate. While attending UMD, I was involved in the UMD Pep Band. I now have become addicted to the lovely sport of HOCKEY!!! I may go play an occasional game with the band now as an alumni, but I am also planning on getting season tickets to men's hockey. I was also involved with the Advertising and Marketing Club (ADMAR) at UMD. Through my involvement in ADMAR, we created integrated marketing communications plans for VISIT FLORIDA, Yahoo!, and Postal Vault. I am currently unemployed, but am hoping to begin a career in Advertising or Marketing, but hopefully in Marketing Research. I'm really hoping that I can find a job in Duluth. I just love it here! I'm really not ready to leave behind all of the great friends I've met here and the memories I have of them and this town. I will be staying here until May 2007 at least, but hopefully I can find a job that will allow me to stay here longer! :) I have a wonderful boyfriend, John (who I talk about a lot, hehe). We've been together since October 2003, so for almost three years now. It has truly been the most wonderful and amazing two years ever!! I love you John!! I currently live with him and 3 other friends in a house next to the UMD campus. I love our little house and all of the great times we have here. It's taken me four years, but I've finally found an awesome group of roommates! I'm originally from Vadnais Heights, MN and graduated from White Bear Lake High School. My family still lives there and a few friends. But, I'm mostly not that attached to the area anymore. I still love reconnecting with people from my past, which is probably half the reason I'm so addicted to Facebook. When I have the time, I'm also addicted to TextTwist, Diamond Mine, and Sudoku. I always try to put my best effort into everything that I do. I'm generally not satisfied unless a project is perfect when I turn it in. On occasion, I become apathetic towards some things, but generally just because I'm sick of dealing with it. My perfectionism also causes me many problems because I tend to be a procrastinator. Initially, I always try to make plans for when to do everything, but I rarely ever stick to it. Then I get behind, freak out a lot, think I'll never be able to accomplish my task, eventually spend wayyy too much time doing it, turn it in, and then move onto the next daunting task. I drink alcohol, but tend to hate many people's drunk personalities. I don't smoke or do illegal drugs, and I never plan to. I also tend to get very annoyed with smokers, especially disrespectful ones. Probably another reason I love Duluth (smoke-free restaurants). Music means a lot to me. I love listening to it and enjoy most kinds of music (pretty much everything but rap, hip-hop, death metal/heavy metal, and opera). I've also shown my love of music through playing the trumpet for about 10 years. I played in the Concert Band and the Pep Band at UMD. Other than that, I'm 5'2". I've learned to live with it, so you can too. I have brown hair and brown eyes, but I love my blue-eyed boy. Oh, I also love puppies, especially my golden retriever, Bogey (well, he lives with my parents). I'm not so fond of cats though. I also think baby seals, penguins, and polar bears are just the cutest ever (like the coca-cola ones). I love nature, but don't spend nearly enough time enjoying it. I'm fond of waterfalls, as well as other various beautiful nature scenes. I love to travel and there's a million places around the world I'd love to see, especially Australia, New Zealand, many countries in Europe (Germany, Italy, Norway, and Ireland to name a few), as well as to most of the states in the U.S. I haven't been to. I am 22 and now technically a grown-up in the real-world...where has all of the time gone?
